Share Share What is the Saturday Art Club?Saturday Art Club is an initiative that invites you to work collaboratively with other young people on exciting artistic projects. It gives you the opportunity to try out a range of different creative techniques you may not have had the chance to explore at school. Through this initiative, we aspire to give you the opportunity to get involved in a subject you love, free of charge, at your local university.Who is this for?Students from Year 9 – 11 ( 13-16 year old)What will I do?You’ll try lots of new creative techniques in our workshops and masterclasses with professional artists. You’ll have access to our excellent Art & Design facilities, make new friends, go on trips and have the opportunity to exhibit your artwork nationally at the end of the year! As well as having lots of fun, Saturday Art Club also looks great on your CV if you decide to apply to college or university later on.Read more about a previous masterclass with illustrator Zack MclaughlinCheck out the official NTU website for more information on this programme.Urvi – Former club member” From the Art Club, we learnt a massive range of new exciting skills such as screen-printing, calligraphy and photography. Of course, we learnt a lot about different artistic techniques but during the trips to London and the galleries, we also learnt a lot more about the world of art and the growing creative industries. I would say the freedom to experiment with different materials and stuff was probably the best part!” – UrviRead more about Urvi’s experienceSaturday Club members” Thank you for creating an environment for learning.
